Jacob has been, and always will be, our adventurous little guy. That worries me in ways that only a mother can understand. However, it also makes him more willing to take on the challenges that face him to learn new things.
On our vacation to Florida in May, Jacob told my mother and me several times that he could swim, underwater, all by himself. We didn't believe him and told him, "no, no! You need to wear your life jacket". When he went down to the pool later that day with Kevin, he repeatedly said the same thing...so Kevin let him give it a shot. And what did Jacob do? Swim. Underwater. By himself. Without a life jacket. If you believe it, it will happen? If you dream it, you will be it? If you build it, it will come...?
We got home and went through a doggy paddle phase, but here he is, as he goes under, under under and comes up "crappin" (you'll have to read below if you don't get the reference...) Pretty good for a 2 year old...even if I am his mother!
