Fall in Texas is short. In November, we're still seeing temperatures in the upper 80s and the kids went to school in short sleeved shirts and shorts today. We don't have beautiful foilage or see the smoke coming from the chimneys as inviting fires burn. Soon, we'll be heading into winter - whatever that will be this year, and before long, it will be time to hit the pool again!
One of my favorite times of the year is the visit to the pumpkin patch. A long time tradition, we visit the patch every year, no matter WHICH patch it is! This year, we were able to go back up to Flower Mound, to visit our favorite patch, with friends.
We enjoyed ever second of our time with Ellie, Holland and of course, Aunt Silly.
Even if the Texas weather does not coorperate, and give us the cool breezes and rich colors that fall is supposed to bring, it still offers up the feelings of the season. The Thankfulness that comes from tradition, friendship and of course, love.
Happy Fall, Ya'll!
